Greatness Requires Greater, Trailblazing Requires Fire.

We often see the end result of others, but rarely talk about the journey...the part that costs more than what we even planned. We write the to-do lists, we map the mission, and we convince ourselves that the boxes we check are all that we need to accomplish the mission.  The truth is: Neither our checklist nor our plan accounts for the unexpected.

There is so much in between:

The detours.
The disappointments.
The emotional weight we never budgeted for.
The time away from family.
The moments we’re called to be more than we thought we had in us.

It’s in these unplanned, uncomfortable, and often unspoken moments that we 'become'. These moments weren't meant to break us. They are present to build us.

Greatness Requires Greater and Trailblazing Requires Fire.

We have to refrain from turning around when we feel the heat.  Understand that fire does not simply destroy, it transforms. It clears the path.  There's always another way of looking at any situation and how you look at it determines your next steps.

If you’re currently navigating the gaps between vision and reality, between the calling and the completion, let this be a reminder that it's not over, you’re not lost...you are being transformed and prepared for greatness.  It's part of the process.
