Just Keep Pedaling and Leave Room for Grace
What are you thinking about? What's currently on your mind? So many of us are walking around with something heavy on our hearts; whether it's a decision we’re trying to calculate, a worry we keep revisiting or even a question of, Should I, shouldn’t I?
In this episode, we reflect on how those unanswered questions don’t just live in our thoughts. They impact our sleep, our patience, our health, and our sense of peace. What we know but often forget is that we will never have everything fully figured out. We have to allow for and Leave Room for Grace in those unknown spaces.
I share a season in my life when everything slowed down unexpectedly. In that stillness, I realized I was being called to speak, but that realization didn’t come with confidence. It came with nervousness, excitement, doubt, and a lot of internal questioning.
Like many of us, I wondered if my thinking was right and where I would even begin. Eventually, I needed to stop spinning and overthinking and start planning. That plan didn’t start big. It started with showing up imperfectly, week after week, and trusting that clarity would come through action.
Just like riding a bike, as confidence grows, we begin to realize our power and strength. While we haven't experienced it all, we understand that growth and grace are needed. We have to move through fear and uncertainty with curiosity and intention.
The lesson recently learned is that: our only responsibility is to pedal. We aren’t meant to know the entire path, control the timing, or predict every turn ahead. Our role is to keep moving, even when the road feels unclear.
When we fall, when we’re pushed, or when the journey feels hard, we get back on. Leave room for grace, stay open to joy, and trust that protection, opportunity, and growth are already ahead of us, even when we can’t see them yet.
