The Power of Connection: We Have to Stop Doing It Alone

What are you part of?

Not just what you’re doing or building, but what you’re actually connected to. Many of us have been doing a lot on our own and while that may have been necessary for a season, it can also become limiting without us even realizing it.

In this episode, I share my own shift from doing things solo to becoming part of communities that are already creating impact. What I have experienced changed how I see connection, contribution, and even leadership.

One moment that stood out to me was something I would have never thought of on my own… creating cake kits for children in need so they can celebrate their birthdays. It reminded me that when we’re connected to others, we don’t just do more… we begin to see more.

That’s the power of connection.

I have always helped with the necessities like food, clothing, toiletries, and even toys, but never focused on those special moments that, if only for a moment, could take minds to a joyful and celebratory space.   This is one way the power of connection impacted me.

It expands our perspective, strengthens our impact, and reminds us that we don’t have to build everything from the ground up. There are already people doing meaningful work, and there is space for you to be part of it.
