The World Needs You...Do What You Do!

What are you doing right now with your time, your energy, your resources? What are you investing in, and more importantly, what gifts and talents are you using or have set aside? These are the questions I asked on my latest podcast episode that have been sitting heavy on my heart because in these times, we can’t afford to hide who we are or what we carry. We need your gifts. We need you to do what you do and do it fully.

Depending on what or who you've been listening to, you've heard or even felt a world full of division, distraction, fear, and frustration.  And, honestly, I'm tired of it all.  It’s easy to get swept up in it all, but when I step back, I can see something so much bigger.  I see better.  I see greatness.  I see You.

You have something the world needs!  What is it?  For me, it looks like speaking positivity, inspiring others, and helping people discover the treasures inside themselves. My gift is finding common ground...creating bridges across differences. That’s what I do, who I am, and what I enjoy. 

What about you? Whatever it is, you have something that only you can give and the world needs it now.  Your gifts aren’t just for you. They’re for others. While it can be tempting to wait for the right stage or platform, the right opportunity, the right level of confidence, or for the stars to align, purpose doesn’t wait. The time is now. 

Today, I challenge you to pay attention to what people always come to you for.  What comes so naturally to you that you may be overlooking? Think about what lights you up even if you haven't called it a gift?  These may be your clues. 

The world needs you and your perspective, your creativity, your compassion, your leadership, your problem-solving skills, your laughter, and your energy. We need you to do what you do, because there's no one else like you.
